If UF can swing it, bring them both back and give them co-head coaching duties.
Let Strong do the D and recruit, let Mullen run the offense and be the media guy.

Whoever it is, Addazio is gone.

If its not Mullen its Strong

(unless Gruden takes the job. UF can offer more money, better facilities right now, better fanbase, a sold out raucous stadium every week, and being in the premier conference in the nation)
I don't think you have to work 100x's harder at FL as you do at Oregon. To me Oregon is the harder job... FL is the best job in the country IMO... Yes it is harder to win in the SEC but FL has a recruiting base no other school in the conference has. I hate UF as much as anyone. But it is an awesome job if you are looking at it from a head coaching prespective.

Kelly may feel a sense of loyalty to Bellotti who gave him his job. He may not leave. But I do think UF will target him. They where rumored to have him in their sights last year in the day or so Meyer pulled his come back deal.

I think Mullen could get the job. But I honestly don't think he is the best coach UF could get. They are alot of bigger names out there and I think UF will contact some of those type guys. Some wouldn't take it but UF is at the very least a top 3 job. They could... I would have Harbaugh, Pelini, Kelly, Petrino, those type of guys on my list. Mullen is a good coach but just remember Teabow is gone.....

    Re: Urban done at UF?

Look what Mullen did with Chris Relf, he turned a horrible QB into a reliable option on a top 20 team that won 8 games.
He turned MSU into a top program in two years in the uber-competitive SEC West. Thats not a great coach?
If he can do that with MSU talent, imagine what he can do with Florida talent.

Oregon is easier because you get to play Washington State and UCLA every year. And he gets his pick of in state talent, that does not happen at Florida. Oregon is not an easy job by any means, its a very liberal and non-football centric place like Florida is, but with the right kids, its much easier to win at Oregon than UF IMO.

Harbaugh wants the Michigan job, its that or the NFL for him IMO.
Pelini, nah, im not really sold he is an elite coach like Meyer.
Petrino's name been mentioned a lot, he could end up there.

My prediction for this is Mullen HC, Holgorsen OC, Addazio either gets demoted back to OL coach or fired altogether.

They've been hot on Holgorsen's trail for the past week or so to see if he'd come to UF as the OC.

I bet Addazio is not back, the UF fans have roasted him and laid the blame for their subpar season and offense on him.

    Re: Urban done at UF?

Everyone is motivated by something. I think Meyer was motivated by fear into retiring, rumor has had it for the last year his wife wasn't happy with his decision to un-retire in the first place. He got outcoached in two or three games, including LSU. He got beat by Spurrier, and was upset because Spurrier go such an outstanding ovation by the Florida fans, add to the fact that Derrick Dooley almost beat him, I think all this plus the pressure of not having Tebow, and the fear of being outcoached next year, and the fact of the cold shoulder at home all made him afraid and didn't what any man does listen to his wife.

Addazio is gone. Theres no way he's back. Some things I had been hearing was that he may end up helping at Syracuse as OC or OL coach.
